Our 2020 project will be announced shortly

'Speak the speech, I pray you, as I pronounced it to you, trippingly on the tongue; but if you mouth it, as many of your players do, I had as lief the town-crier spoke my lines. Nor do not saw the air too much with your hand, thus, but use all gently; for in the very torrent, tempest, and, as I may say, the whirlwind of passion, you must acquire and beget a temperance that may give it smoothness.'

From 'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare

Next ACT...

There are a number of projects we aim to present in the near future and we will always try to fit the production to the most suitable venue, regardless of location.

Over the next four years, it is our aim to present; a controversial play that became a hit film, a new and imaginative interpretation of a Dickens story, a stage play adaption of a classic novel that inspired a musical phenomenon and a chilling new play of an old story (with some familiar characters!)....but not necessarily in that order!

Doubtless there will also be additional projects and occasional displays of our regular 'Scenes from Shakespeare' at St George's day events.

Please keep visiting us as more specific details will be posted on this site well in advance, as and when projects are confirmed.

'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare - "High energy and highly disciplined teamwork against the backdrop of an imaginative and classical set."

'Still Life' (Brief Encounter) by Noel Coward - "Excellent ensemble playing. ACT Company only pops up on odd occasions but judged on this little gem they should do so more often."

'Sherlock Holmes' by James Trapp & Alan Clarke - "Still reeling from how incredible this production was!"

'Stepping Out' - by Richard Harris - "An hilarious evening! Literally couldn't breathe at certain points! The characters seemed like people I know! Loved it!"
